NEW HERE? START HERE!

What should I expect on a Sunday?

You will be greeted at the front doors by our friendly volunteers.  We have a room for Wobblers & Toddlers as well as a vistaKIDS ministry for children up to 5th grade.  Our vistaYOUTH is for Jr. & Sr. High age kids and is a part of our main worship/teaching on Sunday mornings. Our service lasts about 70 minutes and includes a time of praise and worship and teaching from God's Word.

Parents with Kids (Newborn-5th Grade)

We will take your family’s information and issue security tags for each of your children. After you drop your kids off, you can stop in the lobby for some coffee and tea or you can head straight into the auditorium for service.

What should I wear?

We want you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in! You will see people in everything from jeans and t-shirts to slacks and dress shirts.

What do you have for youth?

Our youth ministry joins with us on Sunday mornings for worship/teaching.  We have separate youth events and gatherings for this age group throughout the month as well. Our Youth Director is Andre Arceneaux and can be reached for info/questions at andre@vistachurch.net

What denomination are you?

VISTA CHURCH is not affiliated with any denomination but Pastor Brandon has been a part of Calvary Chapel churches for most of his almost 30 years in ministry.  We teach the Bible book by book, verse by verse and believe in a powerful worship experience.

What if I have more questions?

Feel free to reach out to Pastor Brandon & Karen on a Sunday morning or at any of our gatherings and request a time to sit down with them over a cup of coffee or a lunch after church.  They are always happy to share the amazing story of God's faithfulness with VISTA Church. You can email Pastor Brandon or Karen as well.

COME AS
YOU ARE

By all means we want you to come as your are. One of our main goals here is to make sure you feel comfortable. When you walk through our doors we want you to feel welcomed and loved every single time. We understand that no one is perfect. The only thing we can do is love each other and extend grace.

Bring Your Bible!

We encourage everyone to bring their Bibles. God calls for us to dive into the word, and we want to do that together. Most of us carry arround a Bible in our pocket every day without thinking. Feel free to pull out your smart phones and open up your Bible on whatever app you wish. Let's read together.

Our Core Values

We believe that the goal of church is not to make people more religious but to help people fall more in love with Jesus and therefore become more fully human. We believe that we are called to reach out to our neighbors both locally and globally and serve them in ways that make a difference. We believe that spiritual practices like prayer, reading the Bible, participating in small groups, and serving are vital to our faith.
ANYONE IS WELCOME
No matter who you are, where you come from or what your past, you are welcome at VISTA Church. It is our goal to create an atmosphere where anyone can discover Jesus Christ.
EVERYONE IS NEEDED
As a part of the Body of Christ, we believe everyone has gifts and talents and is needed to help make VISTA an amazing place.  All of us are on mission together to see lives changed for Jesus Christ.   EPHESIANS 4:16
NO ONE LEFT BEHIND
Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost. He was on a rescue mission and turned that mission over to the church. The time is short and VISTA Church wants to see people come to know Jesus through missions, community outreach, church planting and evangelism.
