our Lead Pastor

Pastor Brandon grew up in the church but never had a personal relationship with Jesus until he was 20 years old. He gave his life to Christ at a youth group "alter call" and felt God calling him to the ministry.  After finishing his Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington State University, he began his Master of Divinity at Multnomah Biblical Seminary.  After graduating from Multnomah in 1997, he was the college-career pastor at a Calvary Chapel affiliated church in Vancouver WA for more than 6 years.  Brandon and Karen felt a call to Denver, Colorado and in January of 2002 moved here to see what the Lord had for them.  After 10 years of being on staff as the Associate Pastor at a large church in the Denver Metro area, they set out to start a new church called VISTA CHURCH in 2015.  A love for God’s Word and communicating it in a real and down to earth way marks his passion as a preacher and a sincere love for God’s people defines him as a pastor. Brandon and his wife Karen and their three children, Alexandra, Brycen, and Mackenzie love to ski, mountain bike, play soccer, wakeboard and spend time together with family and friends.
