ABOUT OUR PASTOR

Pastor Brandon grew up in the church but never had a personal relationship with Jesus until he was 20 years old. He gave his life to Christ at a youth group "alter call" and felt God calling him to the ministry.  After finishing his Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington State University, he began his Master of Divinity at Multnomah Biblical Seminary.  After graduating from Multnomah in 1997, he was the college-career pastor at a Calvary Chapel affiliated church in Vancouver WA for more than 6 years.

 

He and his wife Karen then felt a call to Denver, Colorado and in January of 2002 moved here to see what the Lord had for them.  After 10 years of being on staff as the Associate Pastor at a large church in the Denver Metro area, they set out to start a new church called VISTA CHURCH in 2015.   

 

A love for God’s Word and communicating it in a real and down to earth way marks his passion as a preacher and a sincere love for God’s people defines him as a pastor.

Brandon and his wife Karen and their three children, Alexandra, Brycen, and Mackenzie love to ski, mountain bike, play soccer, wakeboard and spend time together with family and friends.

The mission of VISTA CHURCH is big and bold.  TEACHING GOD'S WORD...FAITHFULLY! This defines who we are and sets the pace for all that we do as a church.  It's a big mission but nothing is impossible with God.   VISTA is made up of imperfect people with struggles and challenges just like you.  We believe Jesus is working in all of us to change us into the people He created us to be.  We also believe Jesus wants to use our lives to help change the world by bringing hope to broken and hurting people.

As a part of the Body of Christ, we believe everyone has gifts and talents and is needed to help make VISTA an amazing place.  All of us are on mission together to see lives changed for Jesus Christ.   EPHESIANS 4:16

NO ONE LEFT BEHIND

Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost. He was on a rescue mission and turned that mission over to the church. The time is short and VISTA CHURCH wants to see people come to know Jesus through missions, community outreach, church planting and evangelism.
